Pricing is on quote. There is no useful per-metre figure for a fence, because the metres are not equal:

- Finished height, which drives post size, footing depth and the consent question

No. Selwyn lists all swimming pools and their associated fences as requiring building consent, and pool barriers sit outside the general fence exemptions everywhere in New Zealand.
